SS501: Ur Man mv

Gosh I love this mv!! Their dancing is AWESOME, and I’m totally digging the ‘brushing shoulder’ dance (lol, I don’t know what else to call it). Check it out for yourself.

It’s very good, no? I’m especially loving HyungJun in this mv, he certainly has become ‘manlier’ which I guess suits the song. Come be my man please~~

SS501 releases teaser!

YongSaeng, KyuJong and HyungJun are releasing their album “Ur Man” today~ November 21st. I’m actually quite late with this news, since they’ve already released a teaser for their title song ‘Ur Man’ two days ago (I’m a bad fan, I know). Take a look at the cover of their album.

It looks so…bleak. I don’t like the colour of the cover, but I do like the boys I see xP. Well, what I can see of them considering they’re dressed in black, or what appears to be black ><. And does anyone see it this way or is it just me; the way they wrote ‘Ur Man’ looks more like ‘YrMsn’ lol.

KyuJong is going to be an MC

YAY~~KyuJong’s going to MC MBC’s Dramanet ‘God of Cookery Expedition’. I’ve actually never heard of this variety show before (fail, I know), but apparently it’s hosted by Jung JoonHa, Lee SooGeun and Kim ShiHyung. It introduces different restaurants each week and I guess they talk about food? lol, I’m good I know XD. KyuJong will be appearing on for the first time on November 21st. He stated that “I really really wanted to join this. I am usually gluttonous so I had always thought how good it is to be the MC for this program whenever I watch it”. LOLOLOL! I hope someone subs this show; I want to see KyuJong EAT!

SS501 Kim HyunJoong Busy as an Actor

SS501 Kim HyunJoong has been leading busy days as an actor instead of a singer.

Kim HyunJoong participated in the filming of KBS 2TV new drama ‘Boys over Flowers’ since the beginning of November. Time is tight as he holds an important role for the drama with his first acting experience (note : this isn’t his first though…). And as they will be going overseas for filming very soon, Kim HyunJoong has been living his life busily as an actor instead of a singer.

His business is beyond comprehension as Kim HyunJoong is still scheduled to be on MBC ‘We Got Married’.

Kim HyunJoong’s company DSP Entertainment said on the 10th “He went for filming from last week onwards. The filming schedule is very tight but he is able to complete them. And especially because it is Kim HyunJoong’s first acting, there are more or less some things that is difficult for him. He is now in the learning stage.”

He also said “They will be going to Macau for overseas filming very soon, so seems like he will be even busier in the future. He is concurrently taking acting lessons, he has been living day by day to the fullest.”

He added “Kim HyunJoong has been acting passionately for the drama. We check on his health condition before getting him started on his schedule.”

I do hope he gets enough rest =/. With all the filming he has to do, I doubt he’s getting much sleep. HyunJoong HWAITING. The Korean HYD better do well, but I’m not so sure anymore, what with all the changes to the original storyline. I guess it’s a nice refreshing change from HYD and Meteor Garden; I really hope it’s not going to put people off it. I’ll continue to support HyunJoong, ALWAYS =).

The boys are coming back!! Yongsaeng, Kyujong and HyungJun will be releasing an album on the 21st November. The album consists of seven songs which are said to be a different style to that of SS501. As the album includes songs which are composed and written by the members, it will show that idol singers are not just pretty people without talent. Take a look at their new image:

MTV Korea: Super Junior VS SS501

While SS501 has been concentrating on the Japanese markets and Super Junior concentrating on the Chinese markets, both idol group Super Junior and SS501 has been going back in and out of Korea throughout this year. With the heated up competition with the remaining idol groups in Korea this year, surely, these two top, powerful, idol groups cannot be left out. SS501 and Super Junior will soon be making a comeback. (Super Junior will be doing so next year—MTV noted it as January and SS501 sometime the end of this year.

Hyunjoong: “Almost got sold to China before debut”

“Ssangchu couple” SS501 Kim HyunJoong “was almost sold to China when he was with his previous company” and revealed anecdote of him prior to debut.

During the recent interview with IS, replying to the question “When is the time that you’ve gotten into a worst situation till date?”, he replied “I was partially forced to go to China, if I had went, I will not be able to do this interview now.”

He continued “Before being selected as a member of SS501, I was with a new set-up company as a member of a 5-member group. Even though we practiced, but it didn’t work out to debut. So one day, CEO gave us air tickets and said ‘It’s difficult and not possible to do it in Korea. Let’s go to China.’ And took away our hopes.”

At that time, the CEO of that company said that he is going to come up with a huge hanryu project group, but Kim HyunJoong and the other members found this “impossible” and firmly refused.
